Thiensville, WI | Roof Renovation Project at Calvary Lutheran Church

Secure Roofing installed a new roof on the Calvary Lutheran Church (now called Christ Alone Lutheran Church) in Thiensville, WI. The old roof was aged and worn. (See the before-and-after pictures below.)

During the renovation project, Secure Roofing installed 90 squares of the Marlarkey Windsor® designer 50-year shingles. These shingles feature a unique open-tab design for the distinctive look of a traditional cedar shake roof. The elegant, heavyweight shingles offer high-performance impact resistance and protection from algae staining. The color used was Heather.

Mequon, WI | Roof Renovation Project at Donges Bay

Secure Roofing installed a new roof on the Donges Bay Elementary School in Mequon, WI, during its renovation project, which was completed in the fall of 2016. The old roof was aged and worn. (See the before-and-after pictures below.)

Secure Roofing installed 125 squares of Single-Width Shake DaVinci composite roofing tiles during the renovation project. The natural beauty of cedar shake roofs and slate roof shingles inspired these durable composite roofing tiles. The color chosen for this project was Mountain-VariBlend.

DaVinci Shake synthetic roofing tiles:

  • Are made of a non-porous material that won’t absorb water, which can lead to freeze/thaw issues
  • Are made with state-of-the-art UV and color stabilizers for color fade resistance
  • Resist curling, cracking, fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects
  • Have approximately 1/2 the lifetime cost of natural shake
  • Have a Class A fire rating
  • Are 110 MPH Wind resistance

Secure Roofing installed the roof on this beautiful parade home in Mequon, WI. This 6,000-square-foot home has 90 squares of shingles. Eight skylights and two sun tunnel skylights were installed. These skylights are ideal for lighting interiors cost-effectively, energy-efficiently, and eco-friendly because they significantly reduce the need for electricity while keeping people connected to the outdoor environment.

Owens Corning Oakridge shingles were used. The color of these Owens Corning shingles is Peppermill Gray. These beautiful shingles have a wind resistance rating of 110/130 MPH and an algae resistance rating of 10 years.
